We are looking for a Human Resources Information Systems Whiz!

This position serves as the in-house expert on the functionality of the employment related systems and is responsible for the integrity and protection of the data.  The position also oversees all aspects of benefits administration for the organization and supervises the HRIS Clerk, HRIS Specialist, and the Privileging Coordinator positions.
 

Job Duties:

  • Perform complex reporting functions within the organization’s HRIS and analyze complex data to advise the organization’s leadership, where appropriate.

  • Oversee the process involved in the maintenance of accurate human resource data in compliance with the organization’s needs, vendor requirements, and regulatory mandates.

  • Act as the in-house expert on the HRIS software, serving as the representative for the organization to the HRIS vendor.

  • Maintains position manager, new jobs, pay grades and salary guides.

  • Maintains security for HCM and Timekeeping access.  Oversees accrual set up.

  • Review of payroll register for biweekly processing.  Oversee timecard approval biweekly.

  • Oversee all aspects of benefits administration and maintenance for the organization.

  • Responsible for maintenance of ACA.

  • Processing of life events for benefit changes.

  • Serve as a partner for the organization’s leadership during annual benefits selection discussions and benefits broker meetings.

  • Maintain the accuracy and usability of the organization’s benefits enrollment and utilization data, protecting the data in accordance with regulatory guidelines, and providing the data (in a usable and compliant format) to stakeholders, as needed.

  • Oversee the benefits education process for employees, including the communication of the organization’s benefits programs and open enrollment presentations.

  • Oversee annual compliance training for employees.

  • Provide day-to-day direction to, and supervision over, employees within the HRIS, benefits and privileging functions.

  • Processing of garnishments, tax levies, short- and long-term disability claims.  Oversees unemployment claim submission and verifications of employment.

  • Perform regular performance evaluations, coaching, and any needed development for employees within the HRIS, benefits and privileging functions.

  • Oversees Standards for Documentation of Personnel Expenses to ensure compliance for grant tracking.

  • Travel to multiple locations during shift.

  • Oversee day-to-day functions with privileging teams.

  • Oversees human resources audits including HRSA, Joint Commission, Retirement Plan, HRIS, site visits and compliance committee for employee information and personnel documentation including annual NDT.

  • This position requires in-person attendance at the employee’s assigned clinic and remote work schedule.

  • Other duties as assigned.

 
Minimum Qualifications:

  •  At least 5 years of experience in HR position with increasing responsibility, including responsibilities for benefits administration and/or HRIS functions

  • Leadership in Human Resources experience (HR Manager, Director etc.) PREFERRED

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Human Resources, or related field - Master’s Degree Preferred.

  • Working knowledge of human resources employment law and best practices.
